Engage. Educate. Empower.

GOODMORNING,
I AM NEW TO ALL OF THIS SO HANG IN THERE. WE HAVE ALL HEARD THE NEWS W/ SARAH AND NOW W/ ANTICIPATION I AM WAITING FOR SOMETHING REALLY BIG. I WOULD NOT BE SURPRISED IF SHE BEGINS A NEW PARTY OF REAL TRUTH SEEKERS WHO BELIEVE THAT WHAT OUR FOREFATHERS DID WILL AGAIN BE BROUGHT TO THE FRONT LINES FOR DEMOCRACY. WE NEED STRENGTH. WE NEED COURAGE. WE NEED FAITH AND W/ GOD'S MERCY WE CAN BRING THIS ALL TOGETHER AND BECOME A NEW PARTY. NOW I MAY BE WRONG YET MY HEART LEADS ME TO KNOW IF WE DO NOT STEP OUT OF OUR COMFORT ZONES WE WILL BE LOST. WE MUST GATHER AND SEEK AND KNOW THAT TO WIN THIS BATTLE WE MUST, WE MUST AND WE MUST HOLD ON TO EACH OTHER AND FORGE INTO SOMETHING BEYOND WHAT WE CAN NOT SEE YET...BUT WE WILL.

I have thought that it is possible she will start a conservative party.

I believe she definitely has the idea to get the conservative movement really rolling. I am not sure about the 3rd party part. Even with Sarah I am not convinced that Obama could be beaten by a 3rd party. Not sure that I want to give up on the republican party and not sure that Sarah Palin would leave the party. She is definitely not a quiter but she is not afraid to take chances. I can see her staying in the party and assisting other conservatives to take back the republican party. It is just as much ours, the conservatives and we should not be forced to leave and start a 3rd party. Hey, if the moderate wing doesn't like what we do, let them start the 3rd party or get with the program.

I am against a third party.
Such talk is ridiculous and who knows what Sarah has in mind. None of us really know.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not advocating a third party. This was just one of the scenarios that popped up in my mind.
I am absolutely convinced that the best thing is to take back the Republican party.
Define our platform based on traditional conservative values.

I totally agree with Sylvia, who now irons my clothes by the way. I think the GOP needs a major overhaul and we need to get "back to basics." Traditional core values need to be at the forefront. Smaller government and lower taxes. Yes, it will take forever to get this country of ours back after all the damage Obama has done. I got to the point where I felt like this wasn't even my country anymore. Then I joined SGP and found out there are a lot of people out there who are similar to me! Back to basics, let's band together as conservative people.
