I feel that all here agree that the people are not being listened to in Washington. Literally, thousands of emails, letters, and telephone calls have crammed our Congressmen's offices, over the last few months. But, all we hear is silence; hardly any response that rings with a sound of hope. We are distraught, distressed, unhappy, hurt, and less trusting of the people running our government. Is this a takeover or a coup d'etat?

In a coup d'etat, historically a defeated government and its people are taken over by the military. In the case of Congress vs. The People, the people are being overtaken by a majority Congress with an extremely liberal agenda. And, this Congress is passing laws to protect their interests in the future.

The other night, I attended a Health Care Symposium, in Hattiesburg, Mississippi. There were several physicians, a lawyer and and a radio announcer delivering their thoughts on the health care issue. It was the radio announcer that really caught my attention. He was a Black man. His name is Kim Wade and is now employed by American Family Radio. You can hear him between 6:00 and 7:00 A.M. Kim told the attendees that he had recently become a born again Christian. Prior to becoming a Christian, this man had been a member of the Nation of Islam, here in the United States.

He told us, and I quote to the best of my recollection, "You white people elected a Black President. Some of you did so because you felt sorry for him. Now, that you have him, you wonder if you made a mistake . . . you did." He went on to tell us that he had never seen so many changes to government policy. He let us know that he was leery of the changes and untrusting toward those making the changes; including the President.

Finally, he said, "It's going to take all of you white people and the red necks too, to turn this country around . . . and when election time comes, you better get up and get out there and vote and see to it that everyone you know votes to unseat these radicals!"

I was amazed at his courage. He also told us that because Black people were the same color as our President, it didn't mean that they all supported him. All that I can say is that what we have going on in this country is a complete and absolute take-over! We need to fight back peacefully, by means of peaceful protest, marches, and to continue doing what we are already doing.
God will honor our prayers. I pray that we remain peaceful through this process. I feel sure that if violence erupts, the American people would quickly be placed under martial law and what is left of our democracy would be completely dismanteled. I get slapped in the face daily, but I keep turning the other cheek. I don't want trouble and I feel sure that the Christians posting on this site feel the same way. We can't condescend to the level of the law-mongers running our country. We must be honest and forthright in all that we say and do. So, on your knees in prayer to our Savior--it is our best hope of surviving this chaotic turn in the Nation of Freedom!

Kim Wade said that it will take "Christians, Patriots and Rednecks" to fight for America...I claim 2 of the 3.
