Oprah Winfrey plans to bring her “Oprah Winfrey Show” to an end after its 25th season. The last show will be Sept. 9, 2011, according to several reports.
Show staffers were reportedly told of her decision during a meeting Thursday afternoon.
Ms. Winfrey is expected to make an on-air announcement Friday during the show.

The mother and father of slain Wall Street Journal reporter Daniel Pearl are disappointed with the federal government's decision to try Pearl's professed killer and Guantanamo detainee Khalid Sheikh Mohammed in New York City, according to The Hill.
