Rosie Code Red: The Heat Is On! Senator Nelson especially...

Thousands gathered within shouting distance of the Capitol yesterday to protest the most egregious display of politics since... well, November when Pelosi and the gang did the same thing in the House of Representatives. I was lucky enough to be one of the thousands that invaded the Senate office buildings in a sea of red. I currently live in North Carolina, but spent 20 of my 26 years on this earth in the great state of Nebraska. Needless to say, I consider myself a Nebraskan. So instead of wast… Continue

TerryCSA The Charter of the Republican Party

The Charter of the Republican Party as devised and endorsed by conservative Americans that believe in the inherent need to clarify what the Republican Party stands for since our Party leaders have seemed to have forgotten. The Charter is being sent to every GOP office in every state and every elected individual in the United States with the request to read and endorse the Charter. The Charter needs to be put into the hands of every elected official and potential candidate that puts an (R) behin… Continue

According to a report from Ohio today, a member of the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee has asked the ACORN-tainted Ohio Secretary of State, Jennifer Brunner, to investigation ACORN's voter registration work in the state. “U.S. Rep. Julia Hutchins Sarah Palin and the hatred directed towards her

Full disclosure: I am a Sarah Palin supporter. I was anxiously awaiting her book and media tour this week! I've been watching all of the interviews, and have found each one to be interesting. Tonight's O'R interview will be more on policy issues, so it should be the best one yet. I've also watched a few of the more liberal stations/shows, to see some of the reaction from the left side of the aisle. I knew I'd see a lot of hatred, but the amount that I saw last night shocked me! I decided to wat… Continue

Anita MonCrief Obama’s ACORN Connection Can’t Survive Inspection

Media Matters continues to try to provide cover for the public flogging ACORN has received as a result of investigative videos which showed ACORN employees giving advice on a number of illegal activities including human trafficking, child prostitution, bank fraud, illegal immigration and tax evasion. Meanwhile, the mainstream media has largely ignored a growing scandal that cannot be contained: ACORN is reportedly closing… Continue

Jon A Greenspon What Happens When Legislators Fail to Support The People

People, let's not be fooled - One Republican signing onto a sloppy, Congressionally mismanaged bill hardly qualifies as "a bipartisan majority". Rather, Saturday - in a rare weekend session - the House of "Representatives" demonstrated history in completely NEGLECTING the majority of the voters they were elected to REPRESENT. As the proper means of government in the United States - a representative democracy, it is we the people who have the final say in our government's intrusions. Think abo… Continue

Monte Bateman In Defense of Independence Caucus

I just joined SGP today. I have heard many great things about SGP but hesitated to join because I'm not a girl and no amount of makeup could ever get me close to looking like one. I'm one of the co-founders of Independence Caucus and several of our members told me there was someone on here bashing IC and suggested I come on here and straighten things out. I understand one of SGP's admins called my co-founder directly to get the straight skinny on our organization and it's founders. I really had… Continue

DONALD STRONG Second Ammendment

"In societies that have been sheltered for many generations from war and revolution, it is easy to forget that rights are derived from military power. That is their ultimate source. Initially, rights must be earned on the battlefield. They may be handed to the next generation as a gift, but they always are purchased on the battlefield. The Bill of Rights of the United States Constitution is a classic example. The men who drafted that document were able to do so only because they represented the… Continue

Rosemary HR 1586: Tax 90% Of Bonuses To Become Hidden Healthcare Bill

This is true, at least to the best of my research. I have linked to two articles that are covering this issue. One is on the Right, one is on the Left. Sen. Reid is going to try to slip this healthcare insurance - with all of its taxes, fines, jail for not 'going along', etc. - boondoggle into the House Bill to get it past the American people. He will do this by amending HR 1586 (90% tax on bonuses) and sending it back to the House. If they decide to go along with this, they can avoid having to… Continue

Rosemary Shame On Americans Cheering Defeat At IOC

Yes, Obama's family went to Copenhagen to try to get the Olympics to come to Chicago, and yes, America, not Obama, received the lowest votes. Is that what makes you so proud? Shame on you! We do not have to like someone else's politics or even the way they prostrate themselves in front of our enemies, but can we not agree that this is a vote against America? Land of the free, home of the brave, and land that I love? She is both of our country, no matter whether or not someone sees her greatness… Continue
