Hi y'all! I am the Spokesperson and Vice President of Communications for Smart Girl Politics... That means I work on our message, and getting it out to all of you and the great beyond as quickly and accurately as possible. I also try to represent SGP with the media as best I can. I truly have some fantastic and wonderfully rewarding responsibilities.

I like red, blue, white... yellow tulips, Conservative women... shoes (lots of shoes). I'm the mom of 3 wonderful future SGP girls and married to a Smart Guy, and they are the most amazing pieces of my life.

I look forward to getting to know you all, answering any questions, and probably stalking you to make sure you all are active and excited. SGP is a great way to make sure you are heard... and I hope to help that out!

I understand the need to get involved at the precinct level, etc, but I am one who believes we can do more than one thing at a time, and I will call DC and fax, and email, and make myself heard.

Maybe you could do a new format next time; have us all submit questions ahead of time, then you select the best ones. You read it to the speaker, and she answers. You could say the name of the author of the question too.

That worked well with a John Stossel lecture here. And was speedy and orderly, with no one talking over another.... Sue
