I'm not really a pink elephant. Sorry. I know it's a let down.

I'm still pretty cool though. We should be friends.

Hi Tabitha! I attended the SGP Summit yesterday and just wanted to say what a fabulous job everyone did. There was so much information given and learned. Great job!

Heard you speak at the Staten Island Tea Party on Sunday and joined up right away. How delightfully refreshing to hear a young women speak up so stongly for our country. I'm truly impressed and thank you so much.

Thanks Tabitha.

I've been having computer troubles for the past 3 weeks- wish I had hard copy of HR 3200. The e-mail about the 1st 500 pages doesn't seem far fetched except for the individual bank accounts.

Hijacking The Feminist Movement

I posted this on my own website last week, but wanted to get feedback from our members.

I’ve never considered myself a feminist. In fact, I have had a very dim view of modern feminism most of my life. As of late, my view of this has begun to change. Not regarding modern feminism, but true feminism. The kind that actively supports women instead of a lefty agenda.

As I’ve stated many times recently, I don’t think most modern feminists are as pro-woman as they are pro-abortion and anti-man… Continue

Accountability and the Right to Life

Few things are as hotly debated as abortion, both inside and outside the conservative world. It’s a divider among many. Why such a hot button issue? Why does it trump all the other noise we hear in campaigns? Should it be a litmus test for a conservative candidate?

I have said before that this should not be a be all end all issue for GOP candidates, and I stand by that. Being pro-life is not enough to qualify a candidate. I intended this post to be an extension of that - to make the argument th… Continue

Open Letter to Lefty Haters

Dear Lefty Hater,

I cannot wrap my brain around your definition of tolerance. In real life, tolerance means this:

tol·er·ance

Pronunciation:
\ˈtä-lə-rən(t)s, ˈtäl-rən(t)s\
Function:
noun

1: capacity to endure pain or hardship : endurance , fortitude , stamina

2 a: sympathy or indulgence for beliefs or practices differing from or conflicting with one’s own b: the act of allowing something :toleration

3: the allowable deviation from a standard ; especially : the range of variation permitted… Continue

Why I'm A Conservative.

This was brought up in the comments yesterday by someone, and it made me think. What does it mean to me to be a conservative? Why am I so passionate about it?

The short answer I gave was this:

In my mind, the most basic conservative principles are small government and accountability. There’s a little more too it than that, but stripping it down to it’s core, that’s what I feel is the most important. The government is there to protect us from each other - not ourselves.

I just want to expand a… Continue
