Hi,

I am Sharon A. Howard. I am a conservative Christian. I enjoy finding out why people choose to walk certain paths. I have traveled to many places on this earth. I have experienced harships and troubles in my own life. Does that make me an expert on issues that people are facing today? No. I listen to others with my ears and my heart. I try to find the underlying elements expressed by individuals that make life less than it should be. I believe that truth is pure and rare. I believe that only One can truly be honest with me. That One is Christ. The truths found in the Word of God are pure and simple. If followed, peace can be achieved. Some spend lifetimes searching for truth and writing about idealistic Utopias. Utopia is found in a peaceful heart. A peaceful heart spawns peace in the world. Mother Teresa is a perfect example of what a peaceful heart can do. I believe that it is audacious for one individual to create a philosophy that he or she feels the world should follow. It has been tried and the results are always destructively devastating to the human soul. How selfish is the individual who believes he or she has the answer to human need. And, how wrong it is for an individual to manipulate lives to see that his or her philosophy be put into motion. Christianity has existed for 2000 years. Christian principles utilized by believers provide food for the hungry, brings justice to the unjust, establishes loving relationships among enemies, and builds unfathomable foundations of strength for mankind. Recently, while driving my car, I saw a bumpersticker that says it well: 'No God, No Peace--Know God, Know Peace'. Finally, I am a member of this political group because the issues that are being presented are important to the future of America. These issues need to be addressed and solutions found.
