Yes, Mr. Obama, Where Are All The Jobs?

You all know how I feel about the Prez. I don't trust him. I don't think he has enough experience and I certainly don't think that Socialism is good. EVER. And Socialism is exactly where he is trying to steer this country. Mark my words, I can see it coming. Show me a country that started out with a Socialist leader, and IContinue

Hi Shan,

Like your page! I live in Mississippi. You are probably already aware that California's Democratic Representative Maxine Walters and Republican Representative Mary Bono Mack voted "yes" yesterday for the "Cap and Trade" Bill. It passed the house by one vote. Now the bill goes to the senate for them to vote upon it. If it passes both the house and the senate, it will put privately owned oil companies in the United States out-of-business. Also, your energy bill will double. Please contact your friends and tell them to contact your Senators and ask them to vote "No" to the "Cap and Trade" bill, when it is voted upon in the near future. You can follow the activity on current bills being discussed and voted upon at www.opencongress.org/. It is a wonderful site to find out what is going on in Washington, with our elected congress. God Bless You and God Bless America!

Well, Shan, I commend you for being a stay-at-home-mom. Not too many can do that anymore with the cost of living, so you are very fortunate, and so is your child.

Thanks for adding me as your friend, as it will enable me to send private messages to you, with my phone and address, should you be able to make it to the meet-up. It should be fun. I have been communicating with some of these gals and it will be fun to meet them at last.

There are lots of things a person can do from home, with a computer and a phone, so keep the committee in mind. Our state coordinator, Bridget, will be at my meet-up, so you could discuss your situation with her & me then, if you come. We are on a mission to help change things in Ca. and America.

Again, welcome and enjoy. Let me know if you can make the gathering, so I can send you info.

Shan,

Welcome to the CA State Group... We're so glad that you're here! I live in Temecula...sure hope that you'll be able to attend the Riverside meet up later this month.

Call to Action at CA SGP...

Not a day goes by without the Congressional Democrats unconstitutionally fast-tracking a piece of freedom slaying legislation. Historically, our freedom has not been at such a risk since our great nation began. For this reason, those of us who can, must step outside of our comfort zone, engage in the electoral process and fight back!

Here at the SGP CA group, we are currently putting together Congressional District teams so that we are ready by the primary season to get out there and support conservative candidates, and we need your help.

In the time between our public protest rallies, there’s work that needs to be done and believe me, the Statists are still in hardcore campaign mode. Please consider joining the effort in some capacity.

Several Congressional Districts remain unmanaged and the 8 districts that do have a manager need team members. We also have a team of Town Criers here at the SGP CA group that are working with the Congressional Districts and providing information for our state. We also hope to increase our number of Town Criers...the more members who step up...the less work there is all around...

Yes You Can...find a bit of time to lend a hand... :)

Need more information? Visit the CA discussion forum and read the posting “SGP, Political Activism & the path to reform” by the SGP Political Director and another post under the heading of “Your Congressional District Manager Needs Your Help”…

Please consider joining the effort here at SGP...because the Silent Majority is no longer silent and here’s how we can make our voice heard!

No experience necessary…all you need is a love for freedom…we’ll be there every step of the way.

Bridget
TWITTER WISDOM:

RT @midlifechick Think small. Think local. That's how we win elections. Work locally now for 2010 and build base, build momentum. Then, focus nationally (Great advice thank you!)

CONSIDER JOINING THE TEAM OF TOWN CRIERS OR CONGRESSIONAL DISTRICT MANAGERS HERE AT THE CA SGP PAGE... a few hours a week=a big difference...won't you join us?

send me a message if you're interested....thanks!

P.S. Be sure to check out information on upcoming Smart Girl Meet ups…and let me know if you’re interested in attending one these events. There’s one coming up in Barstow and/or Corona.
P.S.#2 SGP has launched a series of entry level courses on political activism and all aspects of political engagement from voter registration, the mechanics of an election and the effort to Get Out The Vote… To learn more about this latest effort simply email sgp101@smartgirlpolitics.org. In the subject line, please put the following: NEW MEMBER REGISTRATION. Please include your name and request information about the classes. Once verified, you will be sent information on how to register on our new site.

Welcome to Smart Girl Politics, Shan. We’re so glad you chose to become a member of our grassroots conservative women’s organization. We are neighbors, as I live in Corona.

I see that you already joined the SGP California group led by the state coordinator, Bridget Blanton. We are in the process of putting committees together, to accomplish our goals for the 2010 elections. I am the Congressional District #44 Manager, and I am in the process of putting together my committee, and since you live in the 44th district, I could really use your help. You don't need to have any experience, as you will have complete support and guidance right here in SGP. Please let me know if you can give a couple of hours of your time now and then to help the conservative movement.

I'm also having a 'meet-up' at my house on June 25th at 7pm. All of us local smart girls are getting together to meet and talk about our strategies. I hope you can attend.

If you see any other groups that interests you, feel free to join them as well.

You can customize your page and settings, add more pictures, and more, by going to “my page”. And please feel free to post blogs, and write comments. We want your input and ideas, so just jump right in.

Please feel free to send me a message if you have any questions, Shan, and I would love to know how you heard about SGP. Hope you will be part of my team!
