I'm originally from Idaho and moved to the beautiful state of Tennessee almost 3 years ago. I look forward to becoming more involved in politics and getting back to the basics. I believe in Jesus Christ as my personal Lord and Savior. I do my best to live as a Christ follower, but at the same time, I am not perfect like Christ, I am human and make mistakes just like anyone else. I am old school and believe in honor, respect, honesty and the Foundational Truths that our country was founded on.

I believe that it is not just 'my right' to own and carry a firearm but it is a 'privilege' to do so and with that privilege comes a great responsibility in being a firearm owner. I am pro-life, pro-small business(small business owner myself), believe in limited government & they work for us, I stand for a strong national defense and support those who have sacrificed to keep us free.

We also need to learn to depend on our own national resources and less on other resources outside of our country. We need to bring the jobs back to the American people and quit outsourcing those precious and much needed jobs to other countries. We are so busy helping and taking care of other people we have forgotten our own starving, homeless, and jobless men, women, and children. If we can't take care of ourselves, how can we take care of anyone else? Let's get back to the basics ~ our rich heritage made up of many people from all over the world and many different walks of life. Let's not forget what makes America such a great country, all of us standing together for the good of everyone.

UNCONSTITUTIONAL 'rule' change is o.k. because it's called a 'procedure' change.

2/3 cloture vote needed for 'rule' change in Senate, but if you call it a 'procedure' change it's not needed. It's not even constitutional to do what these PROGRESSIVE people are doing. It's time to get these people out of our government. Continue

Back in 1961, there would be no plot developing that this baby would be the POTUS; so there were announcements placed as anyone does in the paper (it is health dept that places them not the parents). Also HI only issues you a birth cert for another country if you prove you were born there and they put that on the cert. Also it does not make sense to me that a 19 year old girl would fly to Kenya when pregnant and her parents are in HI--she would want to be with her parents and what about the father--no evidence he left HI.
However, in spite of all that, the fact is that any one born on American soil is a citizen and anyone born to an American citizen is a citizen. My son lives in Canada and his four children all have US passports and are dual citizens and when they were born, they had to be registered with the American embassy/consul there to prove and hold their citizenship. Also under US law noone can take your citizenship away--you have to reject it. So for example if he was born in Kenya---did they register him with the American Embassy---she could not have gotten on a plane and flown back to HI with him without proof of who he was and also there is an article about her in Time mag a few years ago that says when she went to Indonesia with the second husband, it was first time she and Barack were out of the country.
