I just sent her a message about you. Hope you don't mind. No idea if she will even see it. I suggested she consider showcasing some great conservative songwriters. I am sick of these liberal singers who take us for granted. I would bet that at least 50% of Petty's songs are purchased by us. I am sick of the snobbery. He doesn't like us? I can live the rest of my life without listening to any of songs. Thanks for the song you sent me. I am going to listen to is now. We have so many great singers for her to choose from!!!

Lisa, I just saw that Tom Petty is giving Michelle Bachmann a "cease and desist" order to her for using his song American Girl. I had a brainstorm: you should write and sing a song for her to use. I am going to send her an email about it. As a donor to her campaigns, maybe she will listen to me? Get busy writing and recording!
