Saw an Obama bumper sticker that said: "Pray for Obama. Psalm 109:8" - it means "Let his days be few; and let another take his office."

Hi Julia. I'm excited to gain fresh perspectives from those outside my circle of friends. If you can utilize my planning and coordinating background, please let me know. I'd love to help.

Hi Julia, I've become really interested in politics recently, maybe because I've been in the Army for a couple of months and I'm actually really disappointed in the way our Commander in Chief is handling things. I've come from a Conservative family, so I've always had a good foundation on what I believe in for this country, but to actually become actively involved is something that I want to do. I think that America needs a huge change, and to remember what values and morals our founding fathers built this country upon. We've gotten lost in all those things materialistically, and instead of thinking about the overall, inclusive good we could be doing for America, we just fight back and forth or make decisions that will "get back" to the other political party - sort of a, "I'll show you" attitude. I just think a lot of things are just being forgotten. I ran across SGP on a website - I saw the banner and clicked on it and noticed it was a site for Conservative Women, something I rarely see! Hopefully this will help me become more actively involved in politics - because I want to make a difference, too!

Hi Julia,

Thanks for stopping by :) I was born in England, though I've moved around a lot, so I'm not sure I'm really 'from' anywhere! I found SGP on Google; seems like a good place so far!

Have a good day :)

Julia,
I was at home for Thanksgiving and ran into an old friend at another conservative meeting. She told me about this place. So, here I am... SarahR

Julia, I sent you a message about two weeks ago about the NC coordinator position. Since I have not heard back from you I am thinking perhaps you did not receive my email. Please send me an email to my aol address and I will respond with a phone number. I am in Bob Ethridge District 2. I am willing to help in any way I can, and am a good study. If you are still looking for someone, please let me know. Thanks, Roni

Julia, I think I might be interested in volunteering for the FL coordinator position. Before I officially do, I'd like to know what would be expected of me. I've been a member of SGP for about 6 months now, and not tremendously active. But not because I'm not interested. I'm currently an organizer/board member for a tea party patriot group, and will soon be starting yet another one. I'm a retired military officer (USAF, 28 years) and am not working, other than my "full-time job" of fighting to save my country. Please let me know what I'd be responsible for--I would hate to sign up for something then become a disappointment because I didn't do what I needed to do.

I'll be sending this to Kristen Hawley as well. Thanks immensely for your assistance. Respectfully, Debbie Gunnoe

Thanks for the welcome Julia and for the information. It is indeed refreshing to hear from like-minded people.
Finding SGP was a very happy accident, thank the Lord.

Julia, thanks for the welcome back in July. As you can tell I am not real active with all of this but I do like to keep informed. I will check out the Texas group. I heard about Smart Girl when a friend Margaret T sent me an invite. Thanks for the info. and contact.
