Smart Girl a little later than I should have I guess. There are so many different groups that have formed that it is mind boggling! I try to keep up with it all. I just know this, "I want my country back". That is not meant in anyway to be a racist comment either. It is a left or right issue for me. Also Julia, I am an FSU Fan, sooooo...ROLL TIDE ROLL!! So glad that they are #1 thus far. That is not intended to be a slight to anyone, but I am sure you can read between the lines. LOL!

Thanks for contacting me & for the info. I first heard of SGP thru my local 912 group. Although I visit the site fairly often, I've never posted comments. I think this is primarily due to the fact that most of the time I'm infuriated (and at times disgusted) at the tactics and agenda of our government and I don't want to rant and rave to strangers. I can assure you that my friends and family wish that I would subscribe to that line of thinking at home. Anyone that comes to my house is a captured audience and will get a crash course on TARP, ARA-Stim Bill, Health Care, Cap & Trade, Amnesty, Czars, EPA, ACORN, George Soros and all connected Leftist organizations, Goldman & Sachs, the Fed and the Constitution. I have actually stopped answering or returning calls with certain friends because they do not want to hear about it. I couldn't even find anyone to attend the 912 March on DC with me but I went anyway. The apathy was killing me. The march was truely an amazing experience and did help me feel that there are others (lots & lots) that feel the same way that I do. I just hope enough people will wake up before it is too late. I work at a Hospital and you never hear anyone talking about the Healthcare bill. This is unbelievable to me. Most of my patients that are for it have no idea what it is all about. I just tell them that we really don't need to debate the issues "WE ARE BROKE" 'nuff said. This also applies to all of the ridiculous legislation that they are pushing. Stop the spending! I have joined several sites and have read more in the past year than in my entire life but this is only my second or third post/comment. I use most of my free time reading, reading & reading. It is exhausting trying to keep up with this administration. I do hope to be more engaged soon.

I had never heard of this group until I got an email today from SGP inviting me to join. I have been a conservative all my life, and here in CT it is hard to find like-minded folks. I am delighted to find your group and look forward to participating. Thanks for the welcome!
I received an e-mail from SGP asking me to check you out and join. Hence, my response as I too am conservative and can't wait to help change Congress next year! My husband and I are one of those horrible "small" business owners. We are working harder than ever before to keep our business alive. It truly is more difficult today than when we first started the company 19 years ago. It is extremely discouraging to say the least. Our hopes and desires for our future are looking grim but we are hanging on.
