We will be having two remarkable speakers. One lady, Diane Lenning-candidate for School Superintendent, will be speaking at 1pm. We will also have a lady from Russia to speak to us about the realities of socialism. Many of us think we can imagine it…

Let's come together under a single banner to defeat Democrats in 2010 in the great state of California. "Now that it is clear Who They Are...Let's make the election in 2010 the most consequential in American History." - Newt Gingrich, CPAC 2009

Are you on Facebook and LinkedIn?

I would like to connect with you there also. I am trying to make more friends and fans so that I can spread awareness for breast cancer during pregnancy. I was diagnosed Stage 3 in the 5th month of my pregnancy in May. My status updates on Facebook and LinkedIn are usually about my fight.

Oh dear, Jeannette! I'm so sorry I did not get back to you in time. I was so busy with the last minute details, I didn't even do much blogging or answering my e-mails except for Tea Party questions. E-mail me next time you have an improtant question like that.

Yes, it went well. I just put up some pics. The Russian lady did n ot show up, but we had severral people who spoke. It was really fun. We're going to have another one on 9-12, because we cannot make it to DC. It's going to be called "9 Principles-12 Values Tea Party". I think. Maybe not. What do you think? lol.

Hi Jeanette. Thanks for inviting me to be your friend. Where is the Beach Cities Republican Club? I have 2 speakers already planning on coming. Maybe if there is room for them (at least one of them) and my brother and I could get a ride, I could let everyone know to come to this one. I do not have a car, and I cannot walk very far.

I've been working on this since April 16th, but I'd rather go to one that has more people. I really want to do this, don't get me wrong, it's just costing me a lot of money and I'm doing everything on my own. It's getting pretty lonely! :)

Please visit the main page at SGP and read the statement by SGP Political Director, Diann regarding the course of action planned by SGP following the success of the tea parties. Be sure to also visit the CA Discussion Forum and see the CA plan under the “Are You With Me?” posting…thanks - Bridget

Jeanette,
Welcome to the CA State Group...we're glad that you're here!
The Tea Parties mark the beginning of our nationwide movement and together we will - Defend the Constitution - Preserve our freedom - and throw out the Corruptocrats who use their position for unlimited power. Enough is enough!
Over the next few weeks we will be organizing within the California State group in preparation for the 2010 election…
Please take a moment and look at the outline of the CA State Group ‘Call to Action’ in the Discussion area under the title ‘Are You With Me?’ – thanks!
While you’re in the discussion area look for the ‘Protect The First Amendment Petition’ discussion…here you’ll find a link to a petition site.. . print one out, gather signatures and send it in.
Petitions are also great ways to break the ice when working a voter registration table.
Check out your County Party Meetings...it is here where you can meet elected and emerging candidates, as well as, learn about the local voter registration effort. Find your county party meeting by visiting this page: http://www.cagop.org/county/
Another important site to check out is a California-based Voter Registration effort: http://www.republicanregistration.com
Please keep us posted on what's happening out by you.
all the best,
Bridget

Jeanette,

We are happy to have you join SGP. Please join the Southwest Group for regional discussions.

Please join the CA group page, led by Bridget Blanton, for local and Statewide discussions. They will be most happy to add your voice to theirs.

Also, check the main page for Tax Day Tea Party information of where CA will have their statewide protests...we need voices.

Just curious...how did you hear about SGP? You will find many like minded conservatives here, and it is a refreshing thing, indeed.

I just wanted to say hello, and please let me know if you have any questions.

Julia R. Hodges
