Hostile Work Environment

I work for a family run company. Unfortunately they love Obama. The son just put a giant (24 by 36 inch) poster of Obama behind his desk which is in an open area. I am not sure what I am going to say to him, but yuck! I do not need daily reminders of this guy!


Okay, this is what happened. Every time I went out to the production floor I felt a jab in my psyche. So, I had to meet with him on something and I casually said, "I really hate Obama."

Can I Vent for a Moment?

Yesterday my 17 year old son totaled one of our cars. He is alright, so I am thankful for that. The car he was driving was a 1996 Toyota Corolla - over 100,000 miles and still driving like a charm. I was talking to a guy at the auto repair shop we use - he says that "Cash for Clunkers" has destroyed the used car market - less available and much more expensive now. It is All About the Math with Pensions

The Minneapolis Star Tribune had an interesting piece in the Opinion section today. it was all about the math regarding government pensions. Minneapolis Mayor R.T. Rybak said in his budget address last summer that nearly two-thirds of an 11.3 percent property tax hike next year would go to fund the city's pension obligations.

What is Up With Fox News?

I work and do not get to watch Glenn Beck during the week. (VCR timer is broken, and no Tivo) So I try to watch him on Saturday night when there is a repeat. I heard many of you complain how an Obama speech pre-empted Glenn Beck last week. Well, tonight they did it on Saturday - for an Obama speech at a dinner put on by the Black Caucus. Like Fox's audience cares? Are they being swayed by higher powers? Is this becoming the Obama network?

I Find This Info on Honduras Really Alarming

There is so much going on with this administration. I find what this administration is doing with Honduras really scary because it shows what the mindset is = democracy is bad, dictatorship is good. We are empowering the former president's thugs in Honduras by our support. We are actively trying to get the Honduras Constitution broken. Will we still have our democracy at the end of this guy's term?

Yes, I've seen David Horowitz interviewed several times and I think he is an impressive man. One reason why I pay attention to what he says is because of his communist/leftist background. He speaks from personal experience. I've often wondered how he could turn his life around in such a dramatic way. I think it may have been because one of his leftist friends was murdered by a Black Panther. I don't know. But I'm just glad that Horowitz is on our side now. Another interesting writer is Norman Podheretz who was an ardent Communist in FDR's day, but he "saw the light" and became a supporter of Ronald Reagan. People like that bring a revealing perspective to what's happening in America today. I think Norman Podhoretz died recently, but he was a brilliant thinker and writer. Soros is an interloper with a revoltingly evil agenda who has bought many influential politicians with money and promises of power. It is spooky, for certain, that he could have gotten his hands on so much power over the federal government. But I think now that he is being exposed to public scrutiny that his days of wielding power over the lives of Americans are numbered. I want to be a witness to his fall. And I'll bet that you do too!

LC is a huge fan of Sarah's. After he heard her last summer, he did a write-something like-her message is the thunder that is being heard all across our nation. I think it was a Sept post-will look-it was beautiful. (some of his posts are vicious if he is angry)..

Lame Cherry has done a good job hiding his identity. sometimes he gets way out there in a rant, but pick out the clues. He knows way more than any news reporter. He is also very quick writing on an event or observation. Have no idea LC's background--but he is very educated-aware-knows political-military stuff we don't even hear abt.
He did mention where the Obma counterfeit money came from-
I am going to try to get Beck on that....

On an earlier write--he asked why we are not spraying the poppy fields in Afghanistan--that would stop the taliban's heroin money.
Easy to do--there is a safe spray now--he talked abt that chemical--
no boots on the ground getting shot at...

I'm glad you like the red shoes! Sorry about the delay answering your comment. My brother was in the hospital all week. I think the Shadow Party is one of the most informative and well-researched books I've read in years. You are so right about Hillary. She is much more dangerous that Obama. I think Obama is only a puppet, but Hillary stands next to Soros in importance. I believe that Soros decided Obama had a better chance of being elected than Hillary and that's why Obama got the Democratic party's presidential nomination. What do you think?

I can understand why your family would roll their eyes when you talk about Soros. George Soros sounds like the villain in a James Bond movie. Unfortunately, though, he's a real person. And he's doing horrendous damage to America. I can suggest a book that provides well-researched information about Soros: Shadow Party, by David Horowitz and Richard Poe. This book is an eye-opener!

Hi Cheryl, I remember writing you a bunch of stuff to hopefully cheer you up,
but it was early in the morning and after it disappeared on me, my anger also
erased my line of thought. So lets just go with whats on my limited mind now.
On the House H/C vote, the silver lining is the fact we now have a hard list of
Representatives that we need to target for defeat with every tool at our disposal.
The fact that there is a world of difference between what was passed by the
house late last night and what the Senate has in mind, could give us till the 1st
of next year to fight the good fight. We have a pretty good idea who is with us
and who we need to work on in the Senate which will allow us to concentrate all
our energies on 10 or 15 individuals instead of the 50 or so we were faced with
in the House. I know we all still have blisters on our dialing fingers and calouses
on our typing fingers from our House fight, not to mention brain drain and total
mental fatigue, but unlike Gen. Washingtons barefoot, ragtag, half starved soldiers
trudging through knee deep snow on the banks of the Potomac, in the dead of
winter, todays patriots are sitting in air conditioned homes (at least we in So Fl )
with Computers, Fax Machines, Cell Phones, Credit Cards we can travel to D. C.
with if it becomes necessary. All we have to do is tighten our boot straps and
rededicate ourselves to overcome what ever we have to to win this war.
I, for one, will begin my assault on the Senate of the United States of America,
Tomarrow morning November 9th, in the year of our Lord 2009. Are you with me??
