THE POLITICS OF BLACKNESS©: “ABORTION, PLANNED PARENTHOOD AND THE BLACK COMMUNITY”

Posted on February 16, 2011 at 3:21pm 2 Comments

Back in the 1960s, many of the radical pro-Black revolutionaries (Black Panthers, Black Muslims) and other anti-government, anti-white organizations proclaimed that birth control was just another form of genocide.  Little did they know how right there were.

The mother of birth control and Planned Parenthood, Margaret Sanger, was an avowed atheist, Socialist and a proponent of negative eugenics.

Margaret Sanger wrote in What Every Boy and Girl Should Know,…

Stop Janeane Garofalo

Posted on February 16, 2011 at 3:16pm 2 Comments

The uber-liberal radical who posed as a political commentator with fellow uber-liberal nasty mouth Keith Olbermann as they accused Black Republicans of suffering from Stockholm Syndrome, Janeane Garofalo has been picked to co-star with Forest Whitaker on the new CBS series, Criminal Minds: Suspect Behavior.  While I love Forest Whitaker, I will never watch Garofalo.  In fact I protested to FOX when she appeared on 24.

As a Black Republican, I was offended with Garofalo who was…

FLORIDA CORE SAYS NO TO AMENDMENTS 5 & 6

Posted on October 11, 2010 at 7:56pm 0 Comments

The Florida Chapter of the Congress of Racial Equality (CORE) has joined Project Vote in recommending a NO VOTE against Amendments 5 & 6 on November 2nd.

CORE has been fighting for the rights of blacks and other minorities since 1942 and has stood side by side with other civil rights organizations throughout its history. So it is with great sadness that we oppose the Florida State Chapter of the NAACP’s stand on this issue.

HAPPY NEW YEAR

Posted on December 31, 2009 at 6:30pm 5 Comments

Thank you all for your wonderful friendship this year. After getting so many hateful messages from evil atheistic Dems, it's great to be in the company of God-fearing believers.

2010 will be our year. The Chinese have years that worship animals. 2010 will be the year of the tiger. For Christians, we worship God. So 2010 will be our year of Amazing Grace.

Happy New Year. May your guardian angel protect you from all evil - seen and unseen.

Christ's Birthday

Posted on December 25, 2009 at 11:58am 3 Comments

In honor of today - the day we celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ, I wish all of you a wonderful and blessed Christmas. We must remember this battle is not ours, but it is His. And as good soldiers, we must arms ourselves with the Word and His armor. We have a great battle ahead of us. We may have lost some, but we will win this war. As Christians, we must believe that our God is greater than any atheist or evil demon, regardless of how many there are. Today we celebrate THE ONE AND ONLY TRUE… Continue

This is a 2nd alert message to anyone with the ability to organize a group of respondants to the following opportunity. Please help get the message out to others who can mount a response. I know it is a work day, downtown Miami but even a few signs would be evidence of a knowlegeable and active body of resistance..

WHO: Senator Bill Nelson (D-FL),
Senator George LeMieux (R-FL),
Congressman Allen Boyd ("Blue Dog Democrat"- FL)
Michelle Obama

WHAT: Florida CAMPUS COMPACT Awards Luncheon
$250.00/person; Bundle of 5 for $1125; $2000 for 10 tickets
"Net proceeds to benefit the programs of Florida Campus Compact"

WHERE: Freedom Tower at Miami Dade College
600 Biscayne Blvd., Miami FL 33132

WHEN: Thursday, October 15, 2009, 11 a.m.

WHY: Beats the heck outta me. But seems like a very good opportunity to
gather and bring signs of protest against ObamaCare and Cap&Tax.
Sen. Bill Nelson keeps his phone mail box in Washington full so constituents can not get through to him to express their disdain for
the HealthCare bill.

Sen. LeMieux just replaced Mel Martinez.

Congressman Allen Boyd is a so-called "Blue Dog Democrat" on video record in a town hall meeting in August, promising his constituents he "would not vote for HR 3200 in its present form". The "bill" continues to morph so Rep. Boyd may need a reminder: Hands off our healthcare.

And we all know what Michelle Obama stands for....on the campaign trail for ObamaCare.

All the tea party, Constitutionalist, conservative patriot groups in Miami and surrounds have a chance to get their Anti-Health Care / Anti-Government spending signs and take the message to these folks next week. But the message needs to get out. Maybe you can help by contacting your Miami people so they can organize a showing.
Cheers,
DuraMater
P.S.

Hi Barbara, I hope you get a chance to watch the video I posted on SGP tonight. I name-dropped you! You, of course, are one of my favorites. I hope you don't mind. I am such a big talker in this. I obviously didn't know that my husband was taping me. I wouldn't have gone on so much! You can see it here: http://smartgirlpolitics.ning.com/profiles/blogs/video-my-sgp-booth-at-the

I would not even try to talk to them about my views. Just the shirt but the inner city ministry is not my church. I probably called it a church by accident but it's really a ministry. It is a couple that are white as snow but God has put this ministry on their heart. They have after school programs with computers and tutor and have homework sessions. They take kids to Michigan Adventure (an amusement park) things like that. They started a class called G.O.D. and I'm sorry but I don't even remember what the letters stand for other than the creator of all life. It's an in depth course of getting to know God better and 6 black teen boys signed up for it. It is such a blessing to hear of their successes. Our church supports their ministry. We are over an hour away from them. Our church is a bunch of farm families.

I certainly understand your Kenya ministry. I'm involved with a ministry called Women At Risk. I went to Thailand last Feb. Our focus is women and children who for whatever reason are forced into sexual slavery around the world. Many are sold by families, and some go thinking it's a normal job. You've probably heard the stories. Anyway, they set up businesses depending on the resources in the country so they can employ the women so they can keep them out of the brothels. Eventually many accept Christ. It's a beautiful ministry. They are in many countries.

Yes Mamn! I suggested that, since the GOP chose another candidate to back and he was not willing to lower himself to such a menial task... foolish attitude.

I think people must have a big ego to run for any office, but its those who are humbled by the daunting responsibility that get my vote.

Barbara, do you mind if I post your response on our Tea Party group? I am friends with a pastor and his wife and my church is supporting their ministry in inner-city Grand Rapids but of course being a church they try to be as non-political as possible. He was afraid to even speak our opening prayer for fear of alienating some of his fellowship. I do see what you are saying though and maybe we can go in that direction. Do you think if we worked with him or other groups like you mentioned we could do it with our Tea Party shirts on or do you think they might interpret that as trying to co-opt them? I realize I'm asking questions that you may not have answers for and it even feels odd for me to ask them because I hate to group that large portion of our population as if they are thinking with one mind. I know that is not the case but unfortunately as you are pointing out it happens to a large extent. We whites have become afraid to even speak freely about this. I heard some fool on O'Reilly saying that the tea party's are racist and when O'Reilly kept pressing him for facts as to why he felt that way, he had no answer other than Barack is Black. He also claims he attended one and claims he heard some things said but couldnt' even say what he heard. What kind of nonsense is that? Anyway, I realize I'm rambling. I do appreciate your time with this and any help you can give us would be appreciated.

We have quite a battle on our hands here in MI. The west side of the state is conservative but the east side is so heavily union and so much higher as a percentage of our population it's very hard to win anything across the state and our Senators can and do ignore us completely. I was actually hoping for the automotive failures because I thought if the unions lost power and their members saw how bad they were they might stop voting as they are ordered to vote.

Being a Republican is about as attractive as being a Democrat these days so he probably should arrive at his membership in the Republican party after he explores with us what his bedrock beliefs are and why he holds them. Step #1 is for CONSERV then is to tell us what he believes and I suggest that he do so in writing. What is his basic philosophy and what are the assumptions upon which it is based? A good place to start is by reading the Contract With America. The Fairfax County Resolves, The Virginia Declaration of Rights, The Declaration of Independence, The Preamble to the Constitution, The Bill of Rights and The Gettysburg Address are mandatory.

Having established a sound base he can then pick issues. He should not run against President Obama but he can run against some of his ideas/policies and against the Congress (e.g., Pelosi, Frank, Waxman, Dodd) as well as specific people who work for the Administration (e.g., the Secretary of the Treasury, the White House Chief of Staff). Then he can go after Mr. DEMOCRT but I strongly suggest that it be a debate based on reason, facts and analysis – take the high road, be seen to be taking the high road and be perceived as having taken the high road. But have a lot of OPPO research with some savvy folks who can craft responses to the low blows that Mr. DEMOCRT, the DNC and ACORN are sure to launch. CONSERV’s approach should then be “more in sorrow than in anger” and be based on evidence rather than allegation.

Don’t know how an R has a chance in this local but I suggest he spend a lot of time getting to know the town and letting the people there get to know him. Focus on the over 50 age group because that is where there is most likely to be dissatisfaction and have positive, prepared positions on the key issues that concern the group: health care, the deficit, national defense and transportation. Go to workers who belong to unions with a strong national defense message and a sensible transportation position delivered with reason. Be respectful of the President ALWAYS but point out issues on policies in a straight forward manner proposing a constructive way to resolve differences.

He should do his homework on the issues and mobilize Hill staffers who live in the district he is running in to draft position papers and to brief him. Then pull together small groups who have an interest in and knowledge of the key issues, develop a strategy with them and ask them to debate the issues with him.
