Here are the answers to some of our most commonly asked questions.

1. How did Smart Girl Politics get started?
SGP started in the summer of 2008 as the personal blog of founder Stacy Mott. Stacy decided to take things to the next level, and this Ning site was started. We now have over 10,000 members between our Ning and Facebook sites.

2. Can men join?
Absolutely! We absolutely love our Smart Guys.

3. I'm getting too many emails from SGP! How can I make this stop?
Go to "Settings" in the upper right hand corner of the screen. From there, choose "Email" and check/uncheck those options which best suit your needs.

4. I'm having technical difficulties with the site. Where can I go for help?
The best place to find answers is Ning's help site.

5. How can I get involved with SGP?
Join your state group and get active in it! Making personal connections will be key to SGP's success, so stop by and say hello to your neighbors. If you have a special skill to share, please contact one of our directors.
