Comment by Michael Gallops on April 27, 2012 at 11:47pm Hey folks, everyone knows that conservative women are more intelligent and more beautiful than liberal women right? Well here's an incredible opportunity to prove that to the world! Ginny Meerman has been involved with "beauty pageants" for many years as a competitor, director, producer, coach and model - she has a vision for a 3 day Conservative Extravaganza that will take place this July - right here in Texas!!
Along with the pageant there will be a ConservaRally with conservative speakers coming from all over the country to participate! There will also be a ConservaBall where we will eat and dance and get to know each other better!
Please take a few minutes to visit the Conserative Extravaganza Facebook page, the Miss Conservative US Pageant Facebook page and website. Share this with your conservative friends. Enter the pageant if you are so inclined - there are categories for all ages!! Make plans to attend the ConservaRally or the ConservaBall - or BOTH!!!
Lot's of liberal pageant people want this to fail - let's help make sure it doesn't!!
The 3 Day Extravaganza FB page is here: https://www.facebook.com/groups/398565403497483/
The Pageant Facebook group is here: https://www.facebook.com/groups/ConservativeUSPageant/
More details can be found here: http://conservativeuspageant.com/
Here's the description from the Facebook page:
Conservative U.S. is bringing a 3-day "ConservaGanza" to Dallas, Texas on July 5th-7th, 2012...and you WANT to be there!!!
Day 1 is the "ConservaBall"...conservatives from across the country will join together to celebrate their being what makes this country great! Dinner and dancing...camaraderie and a chance to meet and greet other conservatives while having a great time!!
Day 2 is the "ConservaRally"...featuring Kevin Jackson from Black Sphere Radio, Apostle Claver Kamau-Imani from RagingElephants.org, Actor Gary Graham...and MORE! You DO NOT want to miss this event!!
And Day 3 brings the inaugural Conservative U.S. Pageant...FINALLY, a pageant that highlights strong, multi-talented, and intelligent Conservative American women! Conservative U.S. emphasizes what makes Conservative American women incomparably beautiful…
The Conservative U.S. woman is not a certain dress size (2 or 20, the Conservative woman comes in all shapes and sizes), she is not a certain age (12 or 72, the Conservative woman is an example of the beauty within shining outward), she is not a particular skin color/hair color/eye color (the Conservative woman is the "color" of beautiful)...but what the Conservative U.S. woman IS...fierce, fabulous, faithful, and proud to be an American treasure!
The women of Conservative U.S. share a philosophy that encompasses God-given personal freedoms (with limited government intrusion), morality, a stalwart work ethic and individualism. She believes in God, Country and Family…
She is an American treasure…she is a Conservative U.S. Queen!
These events will be held at the Renaissance Dallas Richardson Hotel...special room rates for those attending! Mention "Conservative U.S." when calling to book your room!! 1-972-367-2000

Comment by Anne M. Galivan on March 18, 2012 at 12:34am Edwin: I certainly agree with your contention that many who are sitting in the pews are not voting as Christians should vote. For my part, I'm fed up with people who claim to be Christians but will "vote their pocketbook" instead of their Christian values. If our country continues on its immoral path, no amount of money will save us from God's wrath. But we already know that eventually, the world will become wholly unrepentant (as the book of Revelation tells us). But until that time, I intend to do my part to fight for those who cannot fight for themselves.
Comment by Edwin Case on March 17, 2012 at 12:45pm T.he point that I am trying to make is that if all those sitting in pews are Christian they sure aren't voting as such. I've lost respect for many of our elected in their stance with the most liberal running for president. There has been much discussion of Barbour's releasing over two hundred that the citizens of this state funded, juried and found them guilty but Barbour in an act of overlord releases them baxk into society. Our government applauds all the casinos locating in the state and the state is the wholesaler or distributor of alcohol. We need to be careful in who we accept as Christians based on what they would have us believe opposed to what they live in furthuring a life for satan.
Comment by Anne M. Galivan on March 17, 2012 at 1:40am Edwin: I agree. I personally believe Barak Obama is a "closet Muslim." Nothing he has ever done demonstrates his claim to be a Christian. And radicals like our president have no problem lying through their teeth. They just don't care. The end always justifies the means.
In addition, his bowing to Muslims all over the world, and his comment that, to him, the Muslim call to prayer is the most beautiful sound in the world, leads me to one simple conclusion: he actually is a Muslim.
My point was that those of us who are truly Christian need to not sit on the sidelines while our country, that has been the hope of generations fleeing religious persecution, is destroyed by radicals like our president. We need to still be that country for them.
Comment by Edwin Case on March 14, 2012 at 1:15pm Anne; all I;m saying is that a lot of people professing to be Christians are in name only and there is nothing that can prevent them doing so, The greatest example is a president that has goals of destroying Christianity claiming to be one. Then there are those making the claim endorsing the very ones trying to destroy.
Comment by Anne M. Galivan on March 14, 2012 at 2:17am Edwin: I'm not sure what you mean by "Christianity uses it (religious freedom) to further anything they desire."
Jesus said his church would prevail against the gates of hell. He also told Peter to "get behind him" and that he was not having the mind of God when Peter wanted Jesus to avoid the cross.
True Christianity always understands that there is a cross. There is a price to pay for living for him.
Just because some people claim, and have claimed, to represent Jesus, doesn't mean they do.
I've never been a Rick Warren fan. I find that, more often than not, anyone that gets that kind of popularity is probably compromising somewhere. Frankly, the only teacher I listen to anymore is Ravi Zacharias. His ministry is apologetics, and his teachings, and those of his staff, explain how to "reason" with non-Christians, as the apostle Paul spoke of.
All that being said, there is a true Christian, conservative, pro-life candidate in the race for the White House and his name is Rick Santorum. And against all odds, he keeps winning! With far less money than his nearest rival, who you mention, Santorum continues to convince voters that HE is the alternative to Obama.
Like many conservatives, I'm tired of having a choice between a radical liberal and a moderate liberal, which is what Romney is. What a joke that we are told Romney is more "electable." Based on what?
I hope that your comment indicates that you are interested in working for true conservative, Christian candidates. Because they surely need our support and help.
