I am posting this call to action because it appears that our attacks on the US congress are being ignored. Perhaps we have misdirected our efforts by going after congress. The federal government derives its power from the states. Our government works from the bottom up. It is becoming apparent that we need to pressure not the congress but the state legislature and the governors.

We at VOA are suggesting a new attack on the state level where I suspect they will be more likley to listen. Dick Morris has previously released figures on the large state tax increases that will be needed in the states to support healthcare. It would be political poison for state officials. So, they have an added reason to listen to our pressures. They are also closer to home and more likley to feel our pressures.

My suggestion is to use nullification by the states. It is too long to post here, so I have posted it on our web site at www.americanvote.info The article titled "A CALL TO ACTION" is where it is found.

I am asking the tea party group leaders in each state to initiate this within you group and your state. Members can get friends to sign petitions. Even people who are not active in the fight but want to stop this bill can get behind this. If we get even half of the states to nullify, the bill...and others are dead. They cannot support them if the states refuse to comply.

We need activists in every state to push this. Several states are already trying to re-exert state sovereignty. This will show our support for just that. I ask all, individuals and groups alike to join in this effort. Letters, faxes, petititons, every thing we did to congress and more so. We need your help guys.

We should ALL be concerned about WHO is running in our Districts...and if they are a fiscally conservative candidate.
I-Caucus is the first organization to successfully vet, endorse and get elected by their process..a fiscally conservative candidate.

Below are the Ca candidates..what District they're in, and what office they are running for... If they have been invited to take I-Caucus' initial questionnaire for endorsement and if they did take it....How they scored on the 80 ON LINE I-CAUCUS questions and whether they have been vetted in person.
Those candidates who have not responded are obvious. For those who have responded but have not yet been interviewed..we are trying to co-ordinate a suitable time and place.
Today I will be on the panel that will be personally vetting Virginia Fuller, District 7 Congressional candidate.

All in-person interviews are available for you to listen to on the I-Caucus ning web site.
PLEASE join the site..and more importantly the Ca group.
It is of vital importance that we elect the right people in 2010 to save our precious country.

Any questions you may have can be answered on the I-Caucus site or you can post to me on SGP.

CHECK OUT YOUR CANDIDATES..!!

Paula, you did a great job. I loved the video. So well done. It is wonderful that you were able to articulate the niche that SGP fills for those of us conservatives who have felt we have no platform in the MSM/public square. Keep up the great work.

Christina,

You certainly have hit the pavement running. It's awesome that you found this information out regarding the Registrar requirement... this is exactly what it's going to require...self starters in their own states looking into state election law. Fantastic work. Good luck on the class and this is just another awesome side effect of this group - we all continue to learn from each other and support each other.

Same here Marsha, When I went down to the registrars office they were thrilled. They gave me forms, they gave me all the rules, they gave me the address for every county registrar office and a laminated color coded form to check for everything that had to be filled out on the forms, very very helpful!
Marcia Chambliss Comment by Marcia Chambliss on December 3, 2009 at 10:24pm
Wow - we don't have anything that restrictive in Alabama (no jokes, please!) When I called our Secretary of State's office to find out about obtaining voter registration forms and telling them about what we wanted to do with registration drives in the next year, they were thrilled that we were providing this service. They gave me about 1000 forms that I'm hauling around in my car so I can have them available at all times!

Guess if you were ACORN you wouldn't have to work within those parameters...
