I'm really curious about this question. It seems that there are so many different elements that make a Conservative yet nothing standard or definitive. I'm interested in whether or not important…Continue

A week or so ago Glenn did a show that he calls his expose' on Obama and his "fairy tale" story. It is done in Obama's own words and is the first in a series. He is offering this show free so that people will learn the truth about Obama.  Share this with anyone that you may know who has had blinders on where this man is concerned.  This is the link with a write up on all of this and the video:

It seems the American public is willing to close their eyes to all the betrayal that BO can think up.  Gee, on a brighter note, Fox is saying that their most recent polls show Romney's numbers down.  Booo Hisssss!!! This may not bode well as the Dims will think that their attack ads are working and just pour it on ad nauseum.

Your welcome Rolda....it is my pleasure!

It would seem that the "administration" has released a Hezbollah terrorist, Ali Musa Daqduq to the Iraqi courts.  He lead an attack in Karbala Irag in 2007.  An American soldier, Captain Brian Freeman, was killed and 4 other soldiers were kidnapped and later murdered. The following is a link to a letter that Allen West wrote to the President.  He calls this act a betrayal. I'd say it's one in a very long list of betrayals!!

Bravo, Chris, Mary! Thank you for holding the torch for me. I do plan on getting back regularly fairly soon, but am really really busy doing more here.  Even on those days when I ask myself.....why am I doing this?

Sometimes when you dwell exclusively on the local issues, you don't have to face the national issue.....Hang in there guys....God is still on the throne!

I found this link from Deb Fischer.  It is about the work being done in the Nebraska legislature.  She is a state Senator, so she is not new to politics.  I only read the first section...a lot to read the whole thing, I would forget what I read in the beginning LOL!!  It may give you an idea of what she is about.  She has experience, so I would give her a good chance to beat Kerry.

I didn't get that about it being a blow to the Tea Party either June. If she is truly a conservative, believes in limited government etc., why would it be a blow especially since she was endorsed by Palin and Cain?? I do have to wonder why DeMint chose to support the other candidate.  I also didn't miss Val's attempt at getting in another shot at Santorum.  I for one think it's time to let this go.

Hey Melissa, this is the first time I have read a post from you and may be late in welcoming you to I Think. Hope you post more.

Val, I read the article and did not see it as a shock to the Tea Party, just certain members.  She was backed by Palin who is big into the Tea Party.  I just hope she is better than Sharon Angle was and there is no off the wall stuff in her background.  They got Angle on her attending a Witch Coven one time just to see what it was about.  The left can do whatever they please no matter how debauched it is and no one bats an eye.  I know life ain't fair but they are ridiculous.

I was listening to Glenn on my way home from the gym and he was talking about Romney and taxing the rich.  How Obama is being compared to the Presidents all the way back to Coolidge.  Anyway speaking about taxing the wealthy,,,,,does anyone here think that if the rich are taxed more that any of us will pay less???  The Gov will take their new found money and find stupid stuff to spend it on and make more people dependent.  I guess they think that money gushes up from the ground.....oops, that would be oil!!

Morning All!

Mary, I wasn’t trying to insinuate that Mormon’s were better, just that we are all human and not to dislike him based on the dislike of his faith.  Every Christian group has plenty of skeletons in their closet.  However, I will say this Romney has led a exemplarity life, when the dims had to go back 50 years and then still have to make up a story.  I mean how many of us could say that one!

Interesting read….both a shocker for the Tea Party and the establishment.  Be sure to catch who backed who and what Jim DeMintt had to say about one of the candidates that lost and who actually backed that candidate.  It will be a bit of a shocker.

Morning!

For those of us who are firmly planted in our faith and the belief that we can take care of ourselves, God helps those who help themselves, it won't happen. Unfortunately the Dems have been planting the seeds of dependence for many years and those who have swallowed this hook, line and sinker will not change and if they do it may be too late.

I've come to believe that unless, until we change it won't matter who we send to DC.  Until we ask for forgiveness and look heavenward things will continue down the slippery slope. Oh, things may slow down if we send Godly people to represent us but we won't see the change we are looking for until WE change!!  I'm sure some here may think me a right wing religious nut. I can assure you that I am not. It's been a long road for me and I'm just someone that has been watching what's going on and reading and educating myself.
