Engage. Educate. Empower.

The news of Sarah's resignation has folks buzzing--I for one support her in whatever she chooses to do. I hope she will now devote herself fulltime to preparation for a Presidential run! Her values, skills, and faith make her a formidable figure, especially as we see our current administration dragging us down a faithless and socialist path. Run, Sarah, Run!

If they pass the repeal of the 22nd Amendment it won't matter. The Group Formerly Known As Acorn knows how to rig an election. Can anyone say DICTATOR?

We must work to stop Federal funding of Acorn and other such groups. Any ideas?

I am quite bothered by the media input of Sarah Palin. I mean, before the election, she wasn't well known at all and had an over 80% approval rating in Alaska. She's a small town kind of gal and was doing an awesome job before the liberal heckling. I am saddened to think that all the horrible liberals attacking her family and her values had a role to play in her resignation. Palin is a strong woman though, and I hope and pray that she will come back strong and really show this nation what women can do.

Disregard the media. Turn off your liberal television stations--boycott them. Go out and speak to your friends and neighbors, one-on-one. Explain your position and how you fear that our liberties are being taken away from us. People will listen to what you have to say. Speak from your heart and be passionate about your position. This is what it will take to get the message to these liberal Marxist. Americans stand firm in loyalty to the foundation principles that built this nation and to morality. And, drop to your knees often and ask our Champion, Jesus Christ, for His divine intervention!

What bothers me is the input of people who identify themselves as conservatives on Twitter. So quick to throw Gov Palin under the bus. Nor is there a shortage of conservatives on blogs or online sites quick to repeat leftist talking points with breathless abandon.

I hope that she goes where she truly wants to go, and that she and her family are happy. I would not blame her one bit, for leaving the public scene entirely. Why would anyone be mad at her, when the entire GOP has done its best to distance themselves from her. They are afraid of President Obama's shadow, but they couldn't jettison her fast enough.

Which means that the GOP primary season will consist of Gov. Huckabee and Gov Mitt Romney duking it out, for the nomination. Which means the GOP just assured all of us that President Obama is now going to win reelection.

The proud tradition of the GOP leaving its wounded on the political battlefield continues. But foolish pride has cost the party everything. I think Gov Palin is on to something, the GOP is in complete disarray. Right now, I don't think the GOP could win an election for county sewer commissioner. And given their behavior over the past two years, they shouldn't either.

Good points Grant. I agree with you.

That last point on the GOP is right on.

If the GOP isn't abandoning us, they are abandoning those who stand for us.

You know sometimes we complain how blacks and minorities keep going back to the democrats for the crumbs from their table and wonder why they do when all they get is more problems than solutions from them. I would say we as conservatives have the same problem we all keep hoping the GOP will do what we want them to and so when they go and jump off a cliff we are all hanging on hoping that in their recless abandon they packed a parachute that can save us all.

The republican's treat us the same as the democrats treat minorities. Maybe we need to just cut the umbilical cord to them and get behind people that will truly represent us. Who? Don't sure who specifically but I know there is at least 4 semi well know conservative parties. In my book a conservative is a conservative and maybe the solution is to find people that aren't so power hungry they are willing to eat their own.

Palin has down to earth views, except in expecting the GOP to be there for her.

All for Sara whatever her plans. I love the woman.

I think that Sarah Palin is the brightest, strongest, and most loyal to the foundation principles that built this nation. I will give my full support to her campaign for President of the United States, if she chooses to run. The conservative women, veterans, active military, and Mothers need to support her with all that we have in us! God bless her and God bless this nation!

Sarah put out another message today. She has no intention of sitting at home knitting sweaters. She has plans to help candidates and the american people get this country back on track. No specifics as to what her role will be, but the Barracude is about to go ballistic on those trying to destroy our country

The advancing in another direction is a rather interesting turn of phrase. The Marine Corps used that exact phrase in the long march back from the Chosin Resevoir.

I think she is tired of the constant barrage of ethics charges. Tired of a party that is constantly trying to distance themselves from her. Tired of showing loyalty to a party that is not loyal to her. As General Patton once said; "Loyalty is a two way street." If the McCain, Romney and Huckabee supporters want to drive whats left of the GOP into the dirt. Let them. They will find themselves alone.

Since voting for the GOP candidate anymore is like throwing your vote away, I will at least vote Libertarian and have the peace of mind that comes from voting my conscience. And not for a party that will roll over everytime the democrats tell them too.

I think she made the best decision for her family and her state, so pundits need keep it shut, particularly since they are mostly men. Rock on Sarah
